My favourite holidays were in summer 2010-2011 i guess. my dad and stepmom were young and just get their first car: a Toyota tercel 96. so we packed, picked up my sister, and  traveled all the way down to Bariloche, first stop. 

I remember that the car was in very bad shape and had the air conditioning down so we traveled all the time with the windows down. once we were playing cards in the back seat and someone opened the window and all the cards were thrown out. we had to stop in the middle of the road and go back to look for them that were further behind.we visited a lot of places from southern argentina sleeping in tents. then we returned to Chile and passed trought Petrohue, Puerto Montt, Chiloe, Frutillar, Valdivia, etc. till we get to Tinquilco, a really small village INSIDE Huerquehue national park, I remember that we arrived very tired because we had spent almost 3 weeks sleeping in tents or in the car, we had stopped in each city for one or two days and then we continued traveling. the first thing i saw when i get off the car were this huge trees, which were as wide as the car, we tried to surround them between 8 people but still we could´nt. there we met some people who had a house and a laser boat  so we spent the whole afternoon at the lake and at night we slept for the first time in a long time in a bed. i have never slept that well.
